Ready-Stock Fabric vs Sourced Fabric: Which Should You Choose?
When to buy ready-stock fabric in India and when to get it made or sourced from China. Time, minimums, price, choice and risk compared.

Ready stock
Ready stock is fabric that is already imported and kept in India. It can be checked, sampled and sent quickly. At Angel Sourcing it can reach you in up to 7 days, depending on your location. It suits repeat orders, urgent needs, small quantities and trying a new style. You can only choose from what is in stock, and stock changes every week.
Sourced to order
Sourced fabric is found or made for your requirement through our suppliers and imported for you. You get more choice, a chance to match a reference, custom colours and often a better price per metre at the right quantity. The trade-off is time: about 40 days from order confirmation to reach our warehouse. You also need to approve samples first.
A simple rule
Need it in a few weeks, or want to test a style? Ask about ready stock. Planning a season, or need something specific? Get it sourced. Many garment makers do both: ready stock for fast-selling styles and sourcing for regular and new designs.
